as teeth.

as teeth go

As teeth go
you'll find they come
so many shapes, sizes.
Dull blunt sharp
long short
varying in the days, the shades and times
of life
I see mine
snapsnapping
in this rain
in this place we call home
jaw claps of
irritation
your constant glide into
old familiar hide outs
wanting to hide-escape
pixelated dreams
what now harries you
again
of your own volition.
The teeth of anonymous
worrying your skin; it annoys me that it annoys you so
your skin wrinkling and folding
Who are you then
fresh from the womb, unable to handle?
No. You are better still, stronger.
MOre important things to weigh in your jaws, to worry, instead of the foolish unworthy comments
of teeth unseen.
Worry not; my ruffled Feathers
we are still here
our heads high
uncaring for unseen teeth.
Focus on the forward
not behind.
